The park is open 9 a.m to 7 p.m daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day and they do a special Holiday Celebration in December too. The park is completely free. You are not allowed to bring in outside food into the park but there are lots of picnic benches and large shade trees for you to eat at just outside of the park. They do have a couple concession stands selling popcorn, ice cream, nachos, hot dogs and some breakfast items. Nothing is over $5.00.  Every hour they have a live play in the children's theater that you can watch for 1.00 per person. The plays are put on by the local college theater group. We happen to catch the play "Cinderella" on our visit. There are many more attractions to view other than the above pictures. They also put on several summer camps and you can have your special event there as well. You can visit their website, Storybook Island, for more information.
