We often put the clear contact paper on the tile floor and let the kids hop, jump, dance and stick to it. Today we tried taping it to the wall for a new experience. We tried sticking shmuzzies (pom-poms), beans, and some balloons to the contact paper. I had to reinforce the tape with painters tape when they began trying to stick their feet to it! What a great sensory and problem solving experience.

We did this using foam shapes. It is fun because they can take every thing down and create again. Here is what we made. http://educationalcreativity.blogspot.com/2011/06/our-inside-flower-garden.html
I like all the fun things you used.
I've done something similar using spray adhesive on cardboard and putting it on the wall. The kids really liked that, now I will have to try putting it on the ground for them to walk on! Thanks for the idea!
I used to do this all the time...and had forgotten about it! Thanks for the reminder. :)
When I taught 1s, they loved this. We often used felt shapes - so we could pull off and reposition. I've used this idea to make collages with my 5s and they like it, too. I guess sticky paper is just fun - no matter the age.
