We saved our egg shells from breakfast this morning. I washed them out and let them dry. Then we broke the shells up into tiny pieces. We divided them up into little cups and added a couple drops of food coloring. We mixed them up but you could put the shells in a baggie and color them that way too. I cut out the center of a paper plate because it is a little more sturdy than regular paper. R just squirted her glue on and then sprinkled on the egg shells. T painted his glue on and sprinkled the eggs. I think they came out beautiful! Such a great sensory experience.
Fantastic idea! I know two little hands that would love this!

This is a fabulous idea - especially for using up any shells which get broken while being decorated for the Easter tree. Lovely to see you at the Carnival of Spring Play.
