We had so much fun with THIS POST and the kids kept asking me to make "frozen paint" again. I thought we could try it on a smaller scale with colored ice cubes. This time, I brought out an old sheet that we can use to color and then reuse as a drop cloth or turn it into something else later. So, we took the sheet and the ice outside and this is what we did with it. We experimented with draping the sheet and watching the ice melt too. It was a great project to do while we were playing outside. The kids kept yelling, "they are almost melted" and enjoyed watching the colors mix. As you can see, the ice did stain the kids hands, but it was only temporary, came off in the tub and washed out of their clothes too!
That turned out beautiful!
